I totally don’t understand why the movie is called The Karate Kid (Google It) (Wikipedia) when the fighting and the tournament is obviously Kung Fu (Google It) (Wikipedia). Ok the plot might be similar to the original 1984 movie, but can’t they just name it something like The Kung Fu Kid, like in China, just not to confuse the local audience? Anyway, this latest Jackie Chan (Google It) (Wikipedia) movie again shows that he is really getting rusty and don’t have fast reflex as he used to portray. Is he really going to retire soon? The kid hero in the movie look so weak; his punches and kicks is so weak that it’s really quite impossible for him to win against all those tougher looking opponents who hit people faces and bodies with DABUMMMM sound, can feel the pain just by watching it. Then there’s romance between the kid hero and a similar aged girl. I shouted to my friend in the cinema: "Dude, wataf’k they know about love and romance? They are just 12 years old! Doesn’t even have pubic hair yet!" ……. It’s the Hollywood elements like this keep on encouraging people doing stupid stuff and making mistakes because they thinks it’s cool to do so. I really hope movie such as this don’t get into the cinema often, but who am I to say so? There’s already a sequel in making.

Plot & Synopsis from moviefone.com:
When a 12-year-old from Detroit moves to China with his mother and incurs the wrath of the class bully at his new school, he makes an unlikely ally in the form of his aging maintenance man, a kung fu master who teaches him the secrets to self-defense. Upon arriving at his new school, Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) develops a powerful crush on pretty classmate Mei Ying. The feeling is mutual, although the cultural divide between Dre and Mei Ying makes a friendship unlikely, and romance impossible. When cruel classmate and kung fu prodigy Cheng learns of Dre’s feelings for Mei Ying, he harasses and humiliates the young outsider in front of the entire school. With no one to turn to for help, Dre confides his fears in kindly maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), a kung fu master who knows that serenity and maturity — not punches and power — are the true keys to mastering the martial arts. As Dre prepares to face down his intimidating tormentor, he begins to realize that the real fight is just beginning.
Mutual feeling my S. Wataf’k 12 years old knows anything about love?

For those who are really interested to try/use Windows 7 (Google It) (Wikipedia) but are too broke to buy it, there’s totally legal way to use the trial version of Windows 7 forever.

Microsoft have a trail version of Windows 7 Enterprise that you can install and use for 90 days before the trail expire. You can download it from Microsoft here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx (you need to sign via your Windows Live ID before you can download). Burn the disc image that you have downloaded and install from it. You will be able to use the full-featured version of Windows 7 Enterprise without any restrictions for 90 days. You will see the trail information watermark at the lower right part of your desktop.

Windows 7 Enterprise is the business-user equivalent of Windows 7 Ultimate for end-user. The differences between both version apart of the legal mumbo-jumbo is that you wont be able to find Enterprise at normal computer shop, as it’s only obtainable if your company have purchased Microsoft Software Assurance, and the preloaded games is not turned on by default. To compare to Home Premium version that comes with most of the recent new computer purchased, please click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7_editions#Comparison_chart

Brief visual summary of Windows 7 Enterprise features.

For me, the biggest feature of Enterprise/Ultimate over Home Premium is the ability to run XP Mode and Multilingual User Interface:

Windows 7’s interface in Japanese.

Why not forever as per mentioned in the title? Once your trail of 90 days almost expire, search for “cmd.exe” then right-click on it and click on “Run as administrator”:

When you see the command prompt come out, just type “slmgr –rearm” without the quotes and then press enter:

You will then received a message saying that the command completed successfully, just press on “OK” then restart your computer. You will now enjoy another 90 days of Windows 7 free trail!

You can do this for like 3 times and Windows won’t allow you to do it anymore. Just follow the steps below to trick Windows to extend the trail period:
1. Press F8 repeatably after you started up your computer to display the Advanced Boot Options
2. Select Repair your Computer
3. Select the keyboard input method
4. Enter the Windows Login details
5. Note on which drive the OS is installed below Choose Recovery Option
6. Click on Command Prompt
7. Type driveletter:reset (example C:reset or D:reset) and press Enter
8. Click on Restart button
9. After logon, ignore the watermark & wait for a while till a Message Box is displayed.

There you go, free trail of full-featured Windows 7 forever!

Please be aware that you cannot upgrade this version of Windows 7 to a RETAIL version. It will stay in this state forever unless you format and fresh install another version of Windows 7

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Google It) (Wikipedia) has a very good storyline eventhough it doesn’t have many Computer Graphics (Google It) (Wikipedia) CG mumbo-jumbo like most of the recent movies have. I played a few Prince of Persia games before, the hero in the movie does not give me the same feeling as the hero in the games. Jake Gyllenhaal (Google It) (Wikipedia) is too…girly for the role? But still, the movie is good on it’s own, even without the name "Prince of Persia" on it.

Ubisoft’s popular video-game series of the same name gets adapted for the big screen in this sweeping fantasy adventure starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton. The setting is sixth century Persia. A nefarious nobleman covets the Sands of Time, a legendary gift from the gods that allows its possessor to turn back time. Whoever owns the Sands of Time has the power to rule the world, and this villainous lord would use that power to enslave all of humanity. The only person capable of defeating this tyrant and saving the world is Dastan (Gyllenhaal), a youthful prince. Now, with plucky princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) by his side, Dastan will attempt to prevent the Sands of Time from falling into the wrong hands. Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) directs a script penned by Carlo Bernard, Doug Miro, Jordan Mechner, and Boaz Yakin.

Nagasarete Airantou (Google It) (Wikipedia) is yet another a-loser-guy-with-a-bunch-of-girls anime. It’s not un-enjoyable though. Even if you are sick of the a-loser-guy-with-a-bunch-of-girls genre, you should check out this anime because the story set in a very different urban environment, that I have always dreamed to live at. All those character’s voice are in a way, cute and charismatic. Highly recommended if you need some good laugh.

Plot from wikipedia.org:
Nagasarete Airantō revolves around Ikuto Tōhōin, the main protagonist, who ran away from home because of a fight with his father. Due to a life-long dream of wanting to board a ship, Ikuto decides to take a vacation on a cruise ship; the ship is suddenly hit by a huge storm, throwing Ikuto overboard. He wakes up the next day to discover he is on an uncharted island populated by girls. Ikuto finds himself to be extremely popular on the island, due to the fact that no other men currently live there. As a result, nearly the entire island starts pressuring Ikuto to become their husband — all except a young girl named Suzu and her extremely old grandmother. Suzu’s grandmother decides that Ikuto will live with Suzu for the time being, but Ikuto initially finds it difficult to adjust, especially with the entire island population after him night and day. Meanwhile, Suzu does her best to protect Ikuto from the masses. However, Ikuto still does not want to stay on the island, and soon after arriving, he attempts to leave by boat, but discovers the island is completely surrounded by whirlpools and tornadoes, eliminating escape by sea or air, thus impossible to leave. With no other choice, Ikuto starts to settle into life on the island.
